Villa Lidia is a wonderful villa for rent in Tuscany, located in the beautiful Capannori town, in the province of Lucca, northern Tuscany, renowned for the number of distinctive towers. Initially erected in the 17th century, Villa Lidia continued to be enlarged and ultimately acquired its present appearance in 1781. 

The villa boasts several famous owners, such as Carolina Murat Bonaparte, the Queen of Naples, or renowned noble families. It's been in the family of the current owners since 1899. Two unique portraits by Vincenzo Dandini add even more value to this architectural masterpiece.

Lidia is considered a villa with high historic value and is under the protection of the Italian Heritage Villas Association. As a holiday home, the villa expands on 1000 square meters and can accommodate up to 16 people. 

On the first floor lies the Queen's room, a sumptuous master suite that includes a double bedroom with bathroom and sitting room, and two additional double bedrooms. 

The second floor hosts two spectacular double bedrooms with bedroom with access through the staircase. Two single bedrooms on the first floor and one single bedroom on the second floor make the perfect sleeping areas for children. 

The interior of Villa Lidia is simply impossible to depict in mere words. Classic elegance defines every single piece of furniture from the majestic beds and polished wood floors to the tapestry of the chairs, unique armoirs, original mirrors, and frescoed walls.

The fully equipped kitchen is also a great addition. Cook is available on request, and there are plenty of restaurants and local markets nearby. Also, the villa can provide lunch and dinner for up to 20 guests serving dishes based on Italian and Tuscan recipes.
