Villa Conti is a fabulous villa in the Chianti region of Tuscany, in Castelfiorentino to be precise. Florence is just thirty minutes away should you want to pay a visit. It lies on the Francigena route, which was once the most used passage from Rome to France.
The villa is a time honored building, hailing from the early thirteenth century; it was originally a castle owned by the renowned Conti Alberti, a Longobard clan from the Elsa valley. Though the villa now is a luxury abode with all the modern comforts, the ancient architecture remains intact in several places to retain the rustic ambience.
The ground floor of the villa has two living rooms, a study and an elegant dining room which both have a fireplace of their own. The kitchen is fully furnished and has all the equipment and utensils you need. There is a double bedroom with an attached bathroom and Jacuzzi.
Outside there is a twelfth century tower which is furnished with a living room a terrace which presents a gorgeous view and a bedroom that has a fireplace and attached bathroom. The garden is lovely and has an ample swimming pool as 10 x 5m .
On the first floor there is a bedroom with an attached bathroom which of course comes with an attached Jacuzzi and shower. Apart from this there are two identical showers with the same lavatory fittings. There is also another double bedroom which has a courtyard overlooking balcony.
